THE STORES
The Stores Croyde is a great cafe and convenience store located in the centre of Croyde.
The Stores has a healthy theme and is a very friendly place to buy local produce, breakfast, lunch, coffee, tea and cake! You can get fresh milk in the stores, as well as beer, wine, cider, gin and other alcoholic drinks.
When the weather is good The Stores has a great space outside to eat or enjoy a cup of coffee and some delicious cake. It’s a sunny frontage where you can chill and catch a few rays. On a good day it’s a great thing to do in Croyde!
Walk through the door at The Stores and savour the amora of the freshly ground coffee, and if you time it right, you can smell the homemade cakes baking in the oven. Even though The Stores has been designed with an Industrial feel the Stores team is so welcoming that there is more than a warm and cozy feeling.
It is then when the difficult decisions start….
Latte and pastries? Super fluffy pancakes? Full English breakfast? Eggs Benedict? But, it’s not all about cakes and breakfast, the lunch menu is amazing and that’s just as difficult to make a decision. But in the end you have to decide on something like Spiced Sweet Potato, Pickled Carrot, Falafel bites and Tzatziki Superfood Salad or ciabatta with local beef, red onion marmalade and glazed brie with horseradish mayo – it’s impossible!
During the summer months there are a number of pop up eateries. Usually there’s a wood fired pizza oven run by Stoned Pizza, Braunton, where you can choose from a delicious range of thin crust pizza. You can sit outside The Stores and grab a drink of your choice from inside the shop.
Inside The Stores, you’ll also find a really cool vibe. There are cakes, coffee, scones, on offer as well as a menu for breakfast, lunch and sharing platters.
Not only does The Stores provide awesome food and drinks, but it has a huge variety of locally sourced dried goods, chilled products (milk, cheese, meats) and a wide array of alcohol. And
There’s also fresh produce with a selection of local eggs, orange juice, bread and milk.
The Stores also runs several events using the space inside the shop. Yoga, curry nights, gin nights, acoustic music, open mic and hog roasts.
