Private lessons can be arranged too – a safe way for young children to get into the surf for the first time, or for improving surfers to get the maximum benefit from their coaching. Lasting for two hours, private lessons allow the instructor to take customers to waves that will best suit their ability. Prices for private sessions operate on a sliding scale, from £120 for a one-to-one session or £35 per person for private groups of eight or more. Young children can also enjoy a shorter one-hour session at a 50% discount.

The school’s experienced and qualified instructors are on hand to guide customers over rocks and through gullies, tailoring the course to suit the ability of participants and ensure the safest possible route. Coasteering sessions last 2.5 hours and all the necessary equipment is provided, with the experience costing £40 per person.
