If you want to incorporate this into a walk from Croyde then take the baggy Point walk out of Croyde and continue onto Putsborough instead of returning to Croyde.

Cycling is allowed along this route, follow the road to Putsborough, and continue along the cycle route instaed of dropping down to Putsborough car park. Follow this path all the way to Woolacombe nd on firther to Mortehoe.

Follow the Esplanade at Woolacombe towards Mortehoe and you will reach Barricane Bay and beach. This part of North Devon’s coastline is completely unspoilt and breathtakingly beautiful. There are numerous coastal walks all accessible from here. It’s a must visit part of Devon, go and find out why for yourself.

Beyond Woolacome you’ll find the sleepy village of Mortehoe. Morthoe is a small village with a could of shops and an excellent fish and chip shop. The main reason to visit Morthoe though is the incredible coastline, for walks and scenic views. If you visit at night on a clear day you can see the Milky Way vividly in the night sky. A truly magical sight.
